Berlin

"Berlin, you're so wonderful," is not only the line of a veteran popular musician, but also an attitude towards life and a short description of Germany's capital. Here we will introduce you to our Berlin, its culture and our location.

What our location in Berlin offers you

From old to new: we moved. Our new home is directly at the main station in the new Europacity. The new office is equipped with everything your heart desires. Living in Berlin

Chic in Mitte, in the rough Wedding, Bergmannkiez or rather in the tranquil Köpenick? You decide where you live. Every neighborhood has its own charm. The districts within the Ringbahn are popular - of course, from there you can get everywhere quickly. Especially Kreuzberg and Neukölln are very popular with many people looking for an apartment. For a metropolis of millions, Berlin is still quite cheap - compared to London or Zurich, you can find real bargains here.

Family & free time in Berlin

You bring your kids to Berlin? We are sure that they will soon feel at home here. We will support you in your search for a place in a day care centre or school - both are mostly state-organised in Berlin and therefore free of charge. Berlin has also a lot to offer after work and on weekends: Museum Island, pop-up photo exhibition, sports clubs, theatre group or open-air yoga: Welcome to a city with endless possibilities. And if you want to get a taste of the country air, the Spreewald or the Baltic Sea are only a stone's throw away.

Culture in Berlin

Is that still west or already east? Our city was divided for some time and belonged to two different states. Nowadays you don't notice much of that anymore. Only the world-famous, colourful East Side Gallery is reminiscent of the former division along the banks of the Spree. Berlin is known for its unique history, the Brandenburg Gate and club culture. Berlin rightly bears the title of the techno capital. The Berghain with its notorious reputation has made a name for itself worldwide. Between parties, history, museums and theatres Berlin offers enough corners to relax and unwind. Did you know that there's a disused airport in the middle of Berlin? Today, running enthusiasts do their rounds on the Tempelhofer Feld or Berliners gather there for barbecues, to sunbathe or fly kites. In addition to Pride Weeks and CSD, Berlin also provides a wide range of events and offers from and for the LGBTI community.

By the way: People in Berlin sometimes seem unfriendly. This is not meant to be rude - but is rather a direct way of speaking for a 'Berliner'.

Infrastructure in Berlin

In Berlin, it can happen that the underground runs above ground, while the S-Bahn disappears underground. This will only confuse you at first - just like the hustle and bustile of people at rush hour at the Alex. If you want to avoid public transport, you can get from A to B on your bike just fine. At the moment there are also speedways being built in the city that will get you to your destination faster and safer.
